The harlequin tuskfish (Choerodon fasciatus) is a stunning, vividly colored species found in the Indo-Pacific region, particularly around Australia and the Philippines. Known for its striking electric blue, orange, and white bands, this fish is especially popular in saltwater aquariums. Its bright blue teeth are another distinguishing feature, giving it the name "tuskfish."

Harlequin tuskfish are part of the wrasse family and are generally hardy, making them suitable for experienced aquarists with large, well-maintained tanks. They are semi-aggressive and can be territorial, especially with smaller fish or when competing for food. In the wild, they thrive in coral reef environments, where they prey on invertebrates like crabs, mollusks, and small fish.
